Pine Creek Rexmont - Ansonia Tioga County 7/4/08

Spectorfly promised to drive so I could sleep on the way up, this way I could make my trip. Just change in plans on what streams to fish.

Pine Creek for the most part was flowing cold this weekend. The trout seemed to have already left. We caught plenty of smallmouths. I had on hooked that seemed to be about 15 inches. The hatch activity was tremendous. Alot of caddis and midges in the air.

The Highlight of this stretch was watching Spectorfly land a 17-18 inch chub. LMFAO!

Sounds like Pine Creek is a good smallmouth stream. That also happens to be stocked with trout...
