I was up there over the weekend and fished in the vicinity of Slate Run. The river looked great and fished decent for me. Lots of sulphers and ISOs as well as some cream caddis and some very small mayflies. I thought I saw some Hex's on Friday night but I'm not sure. The two nights I was there, the fishing was okay but not stellar and, despite the bugs, I often had to wade to get to the few risers. An ISO emerger did stick many of the fish I could find: mostly bows, a couple browns.
When I hiked the rail trail, I saw lots of small bass hugging the bank with a couple fish that were over about a foot in length. Mostly little guys but they were numerous and seemed eager to inspect anything that dropped in the water.
Anyway, water temps were good with a reading on my thermometer of 58 degrees on Sat morning and later 62 degrees by afternoon. By Sunday afternoon (June 15th), I got 68 degrees at 4pm above the confluence with Slate Run.
