Pine Creek/Kettle Creeks, Potter and Tioga Counties, 6/8-12/2013

Zero. Absolutely none.

I thought that there was one fisherman on Lyman (he was parked where we parked at the QG Summit) but it turns out it was a few New Yawkahs hiking. I parked below them and ran into them on my walk upstream.

There was also a dude walking a dog off leash at Mill Creek one morning. That scared the crap out of me. I was fishing a hole, next thing I know I see a big black shape come running through the woods towards me! I was relieved when I saw a collar on it and a waging tail.

Other than that, not a single soul. That's kind of the point, too. I don't go up to Potter/Tioga to see body pollution.

A few streams that I wanted to fish but I just didn't have time were Cross Fork (fished at the QG Summit, but we all know how fishing was at the QG Summit) and a tributary to First Fork Sinnamahony called "Logue Run". I found that stream on a drive my family took while looking for the elk herd one rainy day. My mom's maiden name is Logue, and there aren't a whole lot of us left, so I will definitely go and fish this stream, and catch a brook trout out of Logue Run in memory of my grandfather!
