Fished a put and take section of Pine Creek off of Route 8. Water was off-color and a bit high, but slowly cleared during my 3 hours on the water. Landed four rainbows (including a 14" +) and foul hooked a brook. Took three bows on a san juan worm, one on a size 18 black hares ear and had two chase a black wooly bugger. The water was cool and I was pleasantly surprised by the remaining holdovers. Not sure how much longer they will survive, so you might as well enjoy them while you can.

Jp- good for you. I have never had much luck there. Fished the delayed harvest section a few times earlier in the spring.
