Fished Pickering today late afternoon.
Water conditions were high but fishable.
Caught all stocked rainbows with an olive wooly bugger.
Triede my normal high water patterns but the bugger was the ticket.

What are your normal high water patterns?

Aside from globugs, I almost always stick with the bugger when it's clippin'.

I have had a lot of success with #14 bh zug bug, #14 bh prince nymph, san juan worm, big sucker spawns. I don't think it matters as to what. I think it's stuff that catches their eye and with high water they really don't have much time to decide. That's what I use anyway but I think a lot of big nymphs will take them in those conditions imo.

Ditto - olive (for high and discolored) and black (for chocolate milk conditions) buggers are my high water reflex choices - curious what justfish and others use other than buggers.
