Fished Pickering yesterday afternoon for 1 1/2 hrs 4-5:30. Water 61 degrees flow down a little. Caugt two nice browns on nymphs, could not hook a bunck rising to emergers-couldn't figure it out.
What was disturbing was in the pool under the footbridge were two dead trout on the bottom-what do you think caused this?
Hooked baldly on spinners, played too hard? I don't think the water is too warm. very disturbing.
