Pickering Creek, Chester Co., 5/31 thru 6/3/2011

Fished it from approximately 5:30am to 7:00am every day this week. All of my top water fish came on either a #14 BWO Emerger or #14 Sulphur Emerger. Picked up a few on a dead drifted #10 Black BH Woolly Bugger and I had a few takes on a #14 BH Hairs Ear and a #12 BH Prince Nymph.

What sections of the creek were you fishing? How were the water temps this week?

I fished it twice in the last week as well. I have been getting temps around 64 degrees in the afternoon. Starting to catch lots of very small bass mixed in with trout. populations seem way down after it has been hit hard for a month.

Yeah, yesterday I pulled a bunch of smallies out of that section too, and what seemed to me to be a stream bred brown. Unfortunately dropped my phone in the creek so the picture it gone forever.
