Water was normal\low flow from what i'm used to. Fishing was alot slower then a week or two prior, numbers of fish definitely decreased since then. Most likely due to most of the fish being harvested by the stringer crew. Spent an hour fishing a few different holes, missed 3 or 4 fish, landed 5 or so. Some chunky 12-14in fish and alot of smaller 8-9 inchers. Nothing specifically worked alot better then anything else however natural and realistic seemed to be the key more then anything flashy. Sz16 brown generic nymphs picked up most of the fish along with some movement on the fly. No one else on the stream except for one guy. Which is great considering there's usually 15 around this time of year like the week prior.

Nice looking fish and thanks for the report....I think jim from NJ may have a little case of trout envy. Good to hear the stringer crowd has left some for the rest of us, hoping to hit the pickering in the near future.
