Fished the behind the "Doctors'' at my brothers suggestion. Mixed sun and clouds, water low, some caddis and midges, one Sulphur. Started at 9:30 and went till mid afternoon Landed four fairly large club rainbows and bucketed them to safer spots. Landed several trout, and even took four on top when they started rising at the end. (Black caddis 18) Soft hackles and ants took most of the fish. Good fishing fix without driving too far. Stream could use some rain!

It's an area above Merlin Rd. that gets doused with large trout for tournaments by a private club. They fish the heck out of it, but some of the guys are into c+r. The club constructed some pools there, though they didn't leave openings in the center for the silt to blow out. It's rare to have the water to yourself, cause locals pretty much fish it daily. Before and after work it's usually crowded with spin and bait fishermen.
