Pickering Ck, Chester, 3/18/10

Was able to stop by after work for an hour. About 5 or 6 other fisherman.

Only bothered to stop by upstream to fish the faster pools. Caught 2, 3 others spit the hook.

Some stone flies flying around, a few rises within the hour on the steadier pools. Water was a little high but very ideal.

Nice angle on that shot and what nice water that stream has right now.

I have fished from the Rt. 29 bridge up to where Pickering Dam Road heads uphill, just above that big plunge. I have never fished as far up as Charlestown Road, but is that some nice water, too?
