Hit tyler state park first with a little sunfish action, then retired to pennypack creek to see if we could grab a few bass. Success.. My brother (215fly) and I netted about 50+ sunfish... a few fairly large ones. Together, about 8-10 Smallies. Caught all of the bass on a small popper. brother dipping nymphs.
The water was very clear, and warm (around 78 degrees). Its the first summer day ive fished the pack, and it was noticably lower height and flow than what i seen in early and mid spring. Started at the Veree rd. waterfall area and waded southeast for about a mile or 2.
