The Pennsylvania Wild Trout Coalition (PAWTC) was formed with one clear goal: to get the white trucks off Pennsylvania's wild trout streams.
Wild trout streams should be managed for the naturally reproducing fish that already thrive there—not as put-and-take stocking destinations. While stocked trout have an important place in Pennsylvania's fishing tradition, they do not belong in waters that sustain healthy wild trout populations.
PAWTC is committed to promoting science-based fisheries management, fiscal responsibility at PFBC, educating anglers about the value of wild trout, and advocating for policies that prioritize the protection of Pennsylvania's wild trout resources.
