Fished the C&R area above Cherry Ru
n. With the cold & high winds, not much happening on top.Lots of caddis' but the fish stayed down. Sulphers were on the water around 3:30 still not many fish rising. All fish took a GW. Penns fish seem extra healthy to me..Water was up a little with some color. Few guys out for a Sunday.

Green Weenie

Been seeing inch worms in my backyard so I'm sure the fish are starting to see them as well... Should help greenieweenies effectiveness

I saw small inch worms (half-inch worms?) lowering themselves over Penns Friday. So, even though a green weenie is a general catch-all fly, there actually are some of the real critters showing up in the drift.

Not that we need another bug in the mix to try to figure out what they're eating!

Yeah I saw quite a few inch worms yesterday along with some spotty green drake activity.
