Penns Creek, May 5, 2008

This is the third time I have tried to add a stream report. The first time I couldn't submit it because it said something about an invalid somethingorother. The second time, it said I had exceeded my alloted session time. Both times my posting was erased. So for purposes of experimentation I will submit a very brief report this time:

Fishing on Penns Creek, at Poe Paddy, was pretty darn good the first weekend in May, until the rains hit on Saturday night.

I fished Penns the afternoon of 5/10 - I was spending the weekend at our Camp located near Poe Paddy. The creek was running alittle high, but I though color was good and fish were spread out fairly well. Picked some up on nymphs and a friend of mine got a few on top at dusk on some March Brown spinners. Saw some march browns and sulphers coming off in the afternoon when the sun came up.
