Penns was on the low side, moderately clear. Temp above Elk/Pine confluence was 39 at about 9:30 AM. Skies clear as glass all day, air temps peaked probably around the low to mid 40s. Throughout the day, very few midges were seen and nothing else. I did not see a rise all day, but I'm sure there were a couple that escaped my attention.
Nymphing and streamer fishing is not my bag, but I tried hard all day and came up empty until just before dark.
I met some others from the board who caught some fish also, but no one lit the world on fire.
