Going to be in Palmerton taking the kids to Blue Mountain for a snowboarding trip. Is there any good wild trout fishing nearby to the resort you can reccomend. Thanks for any help.

Aquashicola creek is practically at the base of the ski lift. Probably frozen right now though.

Virtually all freestoners up that way. Good luck finding open water. Spring creeks are the name of the game in this weather, if you can stand the cold temps to fish them.

I'd think this would be a great time to leave trout alone, but that's just me.
