Fished Oil Creek on Sunday from 4:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M., Cloudy day with air temp. at 65 deg and water temp at 64 deg. There was NO ONE on the entire stretch of 1/2 mile. Some sporadic rising fish in foam lines at first. Caught 2 12"-14" on soft hackle #16 with pheasant tail colored body and bronze wire. Hatches began of sulphurs, cahill and other cooties. Some size #10-#12 yellow mayflies hatching, big, pretty bug. Caught 2 more on #16 parachute sulphur and then stayed with a #16 sulphur sparkle emerger and caught 8 more!, all 12"-14". Rises were regular, but not dramatic with some lulls. Great evening, no competition, public water that felt private with lots of fish.
