Fished Oil Creek from 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. cloudy sky, air temp. mid- 70's water temp 68 deg. F. Flow was a little high and ever-so-slightly cloudy (5x tippet vs. 6x). But..... nothing was hatching in the lower Petroleum Center. Caught 3 rainbows, all great color and healthy 13" or larger on green sparkle caddis emerger, #18. Lost a couple others on the same thing. Fellow downstream was fishing the same thing with the same kind of success.

Waited until 9:15 to see if a hatch would begin, but it didn't. Not a lot of insect activity evident all evening.

Tight lines
