Oil Creek is running around 400 cfs and has a tad but a color but is still fishing well! Fished from 8 till 11:45. 7 trout 2 smallmouths on a streamer and caught two on top using bwo. Hope the rains can keep extending the season for oil creek.

How's it looking this week? Was trying to pick somewhere to go tomorrow within a few hours of me, and looks like Neshannock is muddy...

Edit : Nevermind. Gauge currently says 5,000 cfs unless i'm reading it wrong so won't try it... Guess I'll look for a lake or pond maybe!

I agree pcray. it seems the rains hit right when we need it. its gonna be blown out for a few days at least. I was able to get out thursday in the early am before the big rains came. we were below the dam throwing clouser minnows. no trout but we got into some decent smallies.

Nice. SMBs like that are not a consolation prize, they are a prize! Good job.

Spot on!
Who wants to catch some stupid, ugly stocked trout with barely any strength left when you can opt for beautiful natives like this that hit hard and never give up the fight. 🙂
