Water level is nearing my ideal level of 300 cfs. Nearly perfectly clear. Bright sun. Very little grannom hatching activity. A few rises. I fished my version of a grannom bead head sparkle pupa to excellent results. I fished the open water upstream and then downstream from Petroleum Center. Caught an even 50, all rainbows in about 4 or 4 1/2 hours fishing from mid morning to about 2 or so. Many tight lining early but more on straight-up nymphing later. The fish were really turned-on. I had something like 8 trout eat my strike indicator. I don't get many days like this.

Sylvaneous.

Judging from the gauge and weather, it's looking pretty nice for the weekend.
