Nice afternoon to enjoy the water, low, clear and peaceful, partly cloudy. Fished the bridge at the Petroleum Center with two other lucky fishermen, fish sipping VERY small critters on the surface, #24 trico, black body, white short wings worked for me. Also small beadhead pheasant tail #18 or #20 below the surface. One of the other guys was successful with a #32 midge, I guess that's what Mike Laskowski calls bacteria! One rainbow looked like it had a bad run-in with a hawk as two strips of skin were pulled from each side of the dorsal. Lucky fish, lucky me!
Went down to the power line crossing and turned a couple more on small nymphs.
Only three guys fishing all afternoon, too bad, it was a bonus day.
