Water above 500 cfs with about ideal clarity. It was higher than what I would want to fly fish. For me, that's closer to 300 cfs. Some stoneflies seen, some tiny sz 18-20 and some sz. 14 blacks. After noon, there were several takes on top, but nothing I'd say I'd fish to. Very surprised to see that much surface activity. It's good to see fish acclimating to the surface this early. Here's hoping for a good grannom season.
