I waited futilely over 3 evenings to find any number of rising fish from Titusville to Rynd Farm. In 3 evenings, I had one fish on a swung beadhead wet fly. The water was above normal and only slightly stained. Temps were great. There just weren't many bugs. On Friday, I saw the most bugs with the Cahills mating and dapping on the surface along with a few Isonychia shucks. But only 1 riser. If and when any decent number of bugs appear on the surface of the creek, the fishing should be good. The high water really ruined this season.

Thanks for the update. I've actually never fished oil before and this year is the time for me to wet my waders up there. Looks like I'll wait a bit longer to make the trek up there to try it out.

Yea, it's been a tough year there. Hatches have been sparse.
The only event that seemed to bring up any fish constantly were the march brown spinner fall.
Saturday at about 9:15 PM, big 12 cream cahills (stenacron) and yellow drake spinners got a few fish to come up.
I heard that people fishing the morning hatches are doing well underneath.
I'm going to give it another shot this morning after this storm passes. Cornuta time.
Sylvaneous, for what it's worth and seeing you're not to far from there, Pine is fishing half way decent to sulphurs at dark.

It's still holding plenty cold, so you got another month or so before it warms too much.
