Headed to the Titusville end. The stream was about as low as I've ever seen it. Started about 715pm hoping for a decent spinner fall. Saw only a handful of rises and 1 Sulphur Dun, so my fishing was all subsurface and I caught 4. Hookups were difficult. There were times when I'd have strikes on 5-6 straight casts but wasn't hooking them. That happened 3 times. I finally pulled in my thermometer after catching my 3rd fish and was astounded to see it read 76 degrees. The fish gave no indication of being stressed. They fought well and dove quickly after being released. At about 810pm the thunderstorm that had been sounding off for 20 minutes finally opened up and dropped its payload and my night was over. Air temps had been over 80 during the day but dropped to 66 after the storm. The rain will help with flow and temperature, but it's probably going to get muddy in the short term.
