Sunny warm day with water running about 150 cfs. Fished evening above Petroleum Centre. Not much bug activity, just some few yellow & chalk cahills, Grey foxes and sulfurs once in a while. Not much going on so I put on a sz. 16 beadhead nymph. Caught 2 rainbows in short order then nothing the rest of the evening. I'd suppose any day now, like right now, it should be on.

Fished there on Sunday 19th. Started at Drake well around 1:00pm.
Fish took on the first cast of a caddis dry then had to work hard for the next few. Got a lot of fish to come to the fly but landed only a few.
About 4:00 pm moved down to Petroleum Center to see what was going on. Few more bugs but not many fish working them. Did see a few sulfurs and cahills. Hooked a handful of fish on a sulfur dry.
Was a beautiful afternoon.
