Grannoms have not shown on Oil Creek yet. I went after fish migrating to spawn that stacked-up against the ice dam. I didn't see any. Things are late, as expected. The one good thing is that it seems they will be around for this upcoming nice weekend.

Don't be too disapointed. I fished the Neshannock on Monday and the bugs were out but the water temp put the fish down. Maybe the bugs are waiting a bit longer and it'll be good conditions for rising fish too.

There was a small grannom hatch coming off Monday in the afternoon. I fished it and caught 3 on dries. Not many other risers. Then my gf dad went out yesterday and stone flies were hatching. See what happens tomorrow and the weekend!

Fished Oil Creek at Drake Well Saturday afternoon. The Grannoms were very heavy. At times in the evening the return flight was so thick it looked like it was snowing.
Not many rising fish, caught 3 and missed at least that many.
kbkpitt ; look here http://waterdata.usgs.gov/nwis/uv?03020500 for water level at Oil Creek.

No, haven't fished Lil' Sandy for a while. Always seem to drive the extra distance to get to Oil Creek, but it's not always better. Just a lot more options once you get there.
