Fished 2:30 PM till 5 on Sunday. Very pretty day, intermittent winds but often calm. Air temp 65, water temp 52. Streamflow ~ 500 cfs which is high for me but normal for this date. As noted in the Sugar Creek post, decent number of little brown stoneflies hatching with some egg laying. Some other small midges in the air. No grannoms. Fished the long pool below Outfitter's hole. Saw 3 rises, one trout jumped out of the water after something. I had no luck with various streamers, wets, dries, but did catch a chub on a Walt's worm. Spoke to a few guys who caught a few at the Drake Well project earlier in the day, but I didn't see any trout caught where I was. Saw only a few fishermen. Water level and temps should be better when the grannnoms finally arrive.

Thanks for the report. A friend of mine has a cabin up there so hoping to spend a day there in late May...
