Saturday was overcast and cool. The water was higher than what I would like. The Grannoms didn't get rolling at all, but all the old shucks in the eddies showed me that they did yesterday. Only caught 1 rainbow on a grannom wet.

Saturday was a different story. Bright sun. Creek down significantly; clear green. Fishing was dead until the grannoms got going well around 10:15. Fishing was really good until it tapered off around 11:30 or so. Caught 10 or 12. Whose counting? I was measuring though. (That Measure-Net is great. Almost makes an honest fisherman out of you. At least you know how to exagerate reasonably.) Largest was a 19" rainbow with several 14-16". Only 2 browns. Nearly all came on a sz. 16 peacock herl beadhead wet fly dropped off a sz. 14 grannom sparkle pupa.

Had 2 bald eagles fly right over my head. Good day.

I fished both of those days, also.
I actually did better ontop Saturday. Hatch got going around 7AM.
Things happened much later on Sunday because of the early fog.
Not as many risers on Sunday even though the conditions were better.
Out of the water I fished, I found only three areas where the fish rose consistently. Funny how the trout behavior changes from pool to pool and riffle to riffle on this crick.
