Flow:400 CFS
Water temp 57-65
Air Temp: Low 60, High 84
Hatches: none
Made my second trip to Western Md of 2019.......pretty sad considering it's the middle of July. I had a blast and we covered a ton of water over the two days. There were no insects anywhere to be seen so it turned out to be an all nymphing trip. There were a ton of one year old wild rainbows in the system, probably caught 40 and hooked up another 40 of them between three guys. I have to think that is a result of all the water we've had, should be a great thing in a couple years. Not as many bigger rainbows compared to years past but we did get into a couple better bows and one big brown. Saw a bald eagle too, he got about 20 feet from a blue heron mid air, thought I was gonna see a showdown. Hopefully I will be back out again soon.
