New to the fly game.

Hey y'all. I'm Andy, I'm new to fly fishing overall and thought joining up here would be a great resource for getting going with the sport. So here I am.

I used to fish a ton in my twenties but haven't been on a the water in about 15 or so years. Decided that I'd give this whole fly fishing thing a try and after catching my first trout on a dry fly, not knowing a damn thing about what I was doing, I'm now hooked.

I've been getting on the water about 2-3 times a week since April and I don't want to do anything but.

I'm in NEPA, been fishing the Lehigh, Hickory Run State Park and over on the Broadhead and Bushkill.

Hi Andy and welcome. From your handle, I'm guessing you're a pastor. My dad was a pastor at a half dozen C&MA churches all around western PA. Great that you're flyfishing. My dad had quit flyfishing when he started having kids. We got to fish and hunt together anyway.
