Hey folks, new to the forum. I had a question regarding Penns creek. I was thinking about making the drive up this Wednesday to give it a try. My plan was to park at Poe Paddy, this seems ot be in the middle of things, would it be worth bringing a bike? I do a good amount of bike and fish, I have saddle bags for all my gear. My thought was that I could move up or down the river, picking the deeper holes and structure to fish. Alternativly, I would just hike in and wade. Any input would be appreciated.
Side note, I fished in PA for the first time this summer. I have to say, it was much more productive than fishing the Gunpowder here in Maryland. Caught my first brookies on Tipton run outside of Altoona! Also had some luck with some Rainbows on Yellow creek.
