Hey guys, I made a post last week for some advice on where to fish up here since moving up here in Carbondale. I tried finding some smaller streams to fish but everything is posted. Any advice on places to look would be helpful thanks.

Dear flyguy93,

There is more private land in NEPA than there is further west along Northern Tier of PA. Try to work on checking out some of the State Forest and State Park land in Pike and Wayne County. Many of the stocked streams in the area have stream bred fish in their upper reaches but you need to be careful that you have access to that land.

Regards,

Tim Murphy 🙂

Thanks Tim. I just gave a local class A Brookie stream a shot today caught one very small one and a decent sized one. I was near jermyn. I've been interested on how the east and west branch lackawana river are can't find much info.

I didn't get a chance to take a photo of the larger one it swam off
