This is the first time anyone has asked and now understand the way this works.
So there is some sort of Trophy Point System and they is kinda vague to me. I can switch it over to a system based on the number of posts. I prefer this one, but we require a change in the way some people are recognized by the forum. Like a "New Member" has less than 20 posts and would be graduated to "Member" after 21 posts. There are other high levels too.
I'm learning towards changing it, but want to look at what it would mean if I backed out the Trophy System first. I'll likely discuss with the mods too.

I do think that just exposing what the system was and how the levels worked would be enough for a new user to understand and could motivate them to contribute in meaningful ways. Changing the system might be another iteration, but only if the current one is broken.

I thought some of these changes happened after the new format was created. I recall posters would accumulate points.
I don't even know how you get points today. The old site had a system only based on number of posts.

Why not just become more active on the forum? In almost no time at all, the "new" will have been removed from your name. I don't mean this as any sort of offense or criticism, but when I see your username, I have no idea who you are, so, to me, that means that you are a new user.
Seriously, just post more and be more active. That status will change.

i think this is my favorite use of AI to date. also, this would be an epic marvel franchise, just sayin.
Thanks it looks like I can adjust and create my own ladder points. I might see what I can customize.
I think if you have been around the site for a couple years, even without posting, you should be graduated beyond a new member. Some people just don't like to post a lot.
