Hi all. Long time fly fisherman and short time lurker on the forum. Glad to join and hopefully contribute. Hoping to explore lots of new water close to home this year. Hoping to elevate my tying and fishing games this year. New to streamer fishing and would like to get into tying some more classic nymphs and dries as opposed to modern “soulless” Euro Nymphs. What should I be tying this winter?

Welcome. As other have said, lots of great fishing close by. I’d be tying some pheasant tails and hares ears nymphs, some soft hackle wet flies with partridge and streamers under 3” in length in black, olive and tan.
