New guy from Potter county

Hi there guys,I’m from the top of Potter county,I fish mostly for trout,lots of brook trout fishing on little class A streams around me,a year or two ago I started chasing them with bamboo and that’s been pretty awesome.But I’ll fish for anything,I fish for bass and bluegill when the weather is too warm for trout,I really like to eat bluegill when I’ve got the ambition to fillet a batch.Last year I went to Colorado and caught a few Cutthroat and that’s always been a bucket list fish for me.I tie a few flies but buy most of them,I have found no matter how ugly my gold ribbed hares ears turn out they still really catch fish,and I like my rods and reels made in the USA.Thats about all I can think of to tell ya,It will be nice to get to know you all,and gain a little knowledge from these posts,hopefully my experience helps someone out too.Happy holidays!

After my son graduated from PSU, he enrolled in the Pa State Police Academy. His first assignment was Coudersport in Potter County. I bought him an Orvis Trident 5 weight to fish the many streams in the area.
