sunny but water still very cold. no fish. none caught, none seen. oh well, better than watching cnn or fox!!!!

Was there on Feb. 21 and didn't see anything...I was just walking and enjoying the sun I didn't even take a rod with me. I did see a couple of little black stone flies.

What section did you fish? They stock in 2 weeks, but I would expect thre to be a decent amount of holdovers from last years weather. Selfinflictedfunk and I fished it from the covered bridge up about half way later in the season last year and had very little success.

I fished behind the shop and downstream a little, tried all my fav holes, nothing. they may have been there and still been in they're winter holes. funny thing, I fished cool spring a couple days later and it was good, saw fish and caught fish.
water may have been warmer there.

I parked in the lower field (up the road a bit from the covered bridge) and walked up to the first major hole. Not a single fish spotted.
