Got to the Neshannock by the fly shop at 7:30am...fished until 11:30 am with a bunch of students from W&J. They struggled. Creek had a bit of color but good flow. Water temp was around 43-44 degrees and warming. We left just when we should have been arriving...go figure...

Olive flashback pheasant tail sz 14, Olive hares ear sz 16, and a bead head prince with no top biot and white biots on the tail size 14 brought three to the net for me. Water temp comes up a bit the water will be hot with rising trout on the caddis...

Lots of fisherman besides us...everyone in the first 500 yard below the dam....everyone was very cordial while we were there and some great conversations...

High Stick or stay home...just kidding...

Is there a fly fishing club at W&J these days? If so i'm dissapointed I missed out.

Drop me a line at boss_Steb@yahoo.com and we can talk about it...it is actually more than a club...
