The water was beautiful, sunny most of the day. Fish arent rising quite yet, but they were hitting olive colored anything with some weight on it to get the fly down to the fish. Going back tomorrow evening for another round. I saw some light cahill bouncing off the water right around dusk.

hopefully the water stays in great condition for a few more days. I'm hoping to head up on Wednesday unless I go out geocaching.

fished it this evening, got one below the bridge. they were on to some kind of emerger, but nothing was hatching. lots of splashy rises though. only action came from swinging wets. probably gonna be blown out again till the weekend. just when it was starting to look good too. bummer.

bpassione,
Which county is the Neshannock Cr located where you fished it, and what was the date you fished (we request this info in the Subject line)?
Thanks,
Dave W

It was in Lawrence Co FI.

Tornado warning went right over that area last night. Had a 35 minute interruption in my television broadcast to inform me of that last night. Said hail up to 1 3/4". Hope Bob's shop didn't see any damage.

shop should be fine, storm went right through mercer and north of grove city. lots of lightning to the north when I was leaving the stream. not sure how much rain fell, it might be ok in a day or so.
