I certainly understand the concept of using the braided tubing, for someone who fishes their flies a lot. Personally speaking, I think I'm just going to use the reverse bucktail method and see how they hold up. I'm not fishing my muskie flies constantly like some of you guys and will see how long it takes the bucktail on my flies to "lay down". If I were guiding like Blane or fishing a lot for muskie, then yes, there is definitely merit to keeping that bucktail up.
