1600 - North of Picture Rocks
Air Temp: 81F and cooling
Water Temp: 62F
Water pH: 7.7
Bugs: #22 midges, #14 sulphurs, #18 sulphurs, #16 grey fox
Water Clarity: clear
Water Depth: 1 - 4 feet

Decided to swing some flies over a little spot on the way home. It's nice to fish while everyone is out turkey hunting.

Intermittent sulphur hatch all throughout the evening. Trout weren't even bothering with those. Managed to catch a couple trout using #16 hare's ear wet flies on the swing.
Trout began smacking dries about 1900, but couldn't figure out what they wanted. Definitely not sulphurs, march browns, grey foxes, or midges. Still too early for the summer caddis hatch.
