Muddy Creek, York County 5/30

Fished late morning from piney hill road lower section up. Lots of people fishing in the FF only. Lots of people catching, lots of fish rising. Tan caddis were on top and sulphur nymphs were working below in the fast water. I had a blast on my first visit to Muddy and I will be back. caught a hand-full of wild browns, very cool.

Lots of people fishing the FFO on Thursday May 30? Last couple of weekend days I've been there I've had the entire FFO stretch to myself just about. Surprised it would be crowded on a weekday.

It is a nice stream and I always enjoy fishing there.

when I was there the parking lot was full and I counted a dozen people. a few maryland tags. everyone was considerate and that was a refreshing experience after being on the Tully a few eve's prior. nice stream, definitely will be back. I am glad to catch up on the stream so many of our customers enjoy!

Wow, must have been a nice day. Usually when I go there on a week day there are no more than two vehicles at the lower end. How for up did you go? Most people don't make it up above the big rock hole. I tend to start above it and around the S bend.

Muddy seems to have been pretty popular lately. I have been hearing folks are travelling to it from outside the area.
