A nice, cold day at Muddy Creek spec. regs today. Next time I'll wear warmer stuff.
The trout just wouldn't hit my regular size 10 woolybuggers. I had to downsize to a size 16 Pheasant Tail Nymph. I also had to use my 3wt with a 6X leader!!
Simply a wonderful day fishing. I saw a couple deer hunters, but nobody was fishing!
I landed two browns, about 12" and what a wonderful fight with my tiny 7' 3wt rod.
