Fished the Fly stretch in the upper end twice in the last week. I saw only one Little Black Stonefly on the second trip. Would've expected to see more with the sunny afternoons.

On Wednesday the water was up and c-c-c-cold. Searched with a bugger on the swing and slow drifted through the pockets and turned a few fish. Once I found them it was on.

Today 3/21 was a little different. Water was lower, clearer (while still green in the holes) and I found fish all through the areas I fished. Not all were hitting hard but did OK with stonefly nymphs and buggers.

Picked up a dozen new stocked fish Weds with one club brown stocked last spring in the mix and today had another club brown and two wild ones among the 9 total that I touched.

Criks fishing good, get out there and enjoy it.

Muddy is down and clear. Fished it this afternoon and saw a bunch of stoneflies. Picked up three fish. Had a few others on for LDRs.

All fish caught on soft hackles n the column, Tried nymphing and buggers with no luck. Saw a handful of other guys so the fish are understandably less eager to bite as they are being caught more.

Hopefully this storm brings some color and volume to the crik for the weekend fishermen.
