I fished the lower end of the C&R area for an hour or so. Fished the deeper pools and I was very stealthy. Didnt get anything but the stream is really clear and the bottom looks great. The folks, maurice and company have done such a great job keeping this creek in shape that it was just a pleasure to walk the banks, enjoy the creek and the warm weather. took the rod for a walk.
temp reading I took was 38 in the morning.
I have a difficult time getting into fish even though I know there are some good numbers and wild browns. Keeps me coming back. Used little black stones, small streamer and hares ear. no luck this time.
Stream looks great and when the rain comes, it will be even better.
The parking gravel at the C&R was a nice addition.
Great looking local water.Hats off to the local chapter and the work they have done.

Was a good time to remove some litter I found now that the water was a bit low. only found a couple soda cans probably from our recent winds last week. I figure, many volunteers help out and I never seem to fit it in my schedule. so at a minimum carrying a plastic bag around for a little cleanup is a small price to pay.Creek looks great.
