Fritz and I fished the fly area from 1:00 -5:00. Parked at the bottom and hiked up to the Beaver rock and fished down. Water temperature was 40 degrees. Had action with the fall rainbows finding them everywhere we would expect to. The water was gin clear. I think we both caught 3-4 each missing half dozen that we knew of. The bite was very soft barely showing indication whether tight lining or using an indicator.

Hot flys were the IPW, Red SJ worm, Prince Nymph, Wire stonefly, and a red hot. With the IPW producing most fish. At the end of the day near dark I had several rolled with a white bugger swung slowly but I think the tail was too long, again with the softer hits making hook ups less effective.

Good day on the crik.

Way to go, Maurice. But where are the pix?

I really wanted to see if you handled the trout properly. And if you took some pix, I wanted to see if they were really the same trout?

LOL! But, great report anyway. I can't wait until my new waders arrive....... I think Muddy will be my first adventure!

Hey Mo', Beaver rock is the one that juts out from the far bank and bottlenecks up above the bendies' am I right ?

Might have to stop down there tomorrow morning. It'll be nice to be on a familiar stream where I know how to catch em'. Got a tight schedule this next several months and probably wont get out much, lol.

Yes thats it...if you look at it from upstream of it it looks like a giant beaver swimming into the stream. Its on the gamelands side.

Sasquatch, If you go, just look for darker water (read deeper, greener) and fish it. There are fish and they feed. You may have to konk them on the head though.

Well I didnt know we were goin to get this much damn rain. Creeks should be completely blown out by morning.

I'm heading to muddy creek at the very bottom section of the ffo Monday 21. Anyone going to be there? Get one last trout adventure in before I head to the keys for a week.
