Prof and I got there at 9:30AM Air temp 54 degrees water temp 48-49 degrees. Water very low and gin clear. Met up with Ron Hueston former President of Muddy Creek TU. He was out scoping turkeys. Great guy and we had a real fun and informative talk. Best part of the talk was he said to try San Juan worms. We did and Prof got 2 Rainbows and a Brown and I also got a Brown. Ron says he fishes a 10ft Rod. Must be tough on Muddy. We pretty much had the creek to ourselves which I thought was odd on such a nice day. Air temp when we left was 74 degrees! Shorts tomorrow on Valley!
