Weather: Overcast, 56-58 degrees.
Water: clear, little low
Hatches: Caddis 16-18, sulfurs 16, BWO 18, light cahill (?) 14
I fished the upper end of the FFO section. Entered the water just above the confluence with Tom's Run. There was not a lot of bug activity for most of the evening. Stream was in great shape and I did not see another angler.

I need to preface this next part, we all know there are no trout in York Co., let alone wild fish, so the rest of this story could be my imagination. ;-) I tied on a cdc caddis and fished is several different ways. Dead drift, skating and swinging at the end of the drift. They all brought up fish. I missed the first 4 fish as I was a bit impatient on the hook set and was pulling it away too soon. Finally got one to stay buttoned up.

Ended up catching a nice mix of stocked rainbows and browns with good number of wild browns. I probably missed and lost twice as many as I brought to hand.

The nicest fish of the evening was this beautiful wild brown that just destroyed my caddis.

The last fish I caught was a rainbow that came clear out of the water. Some how I was patient enough to wait until he got back in the water before sealing the deal.
