Fished from around 12:00 to 4:00, WT. was 44 and clear. Only landed 5 but missed some fish. Seen a few Stoneflies but not many. Been looking for some sones for two days no luck yet!

It was nice to get out the last two days in some very nice weather!

What section were you fishing? Off of what road? I was thinking of going there. I've been there once and had a nice strike. WOndering what you caught 5 on. Bead heads? Pheasant tails?

Bob,

Go down 74 to Woodbine Rd (Route 425) then a right on Bridgeton Rd then right again on Piney Hill. Park at the cable 300 meters from the turn or at the parking area 1/4 mile up the road.
park at the signs.

If you can find Bruce Road off Kennedy you can park at the top of the hill and walk over from there and fish the upper end. Be sure to park at the sign and DON"T go to the bottom of Bruce Road.

Here is a map from our website.

The flies that are working there are Weenies, Buggers stripped hard or twitched (yanked) and Pink worms. The stones are getting busier but few rises are seen. I didn't have any luck with nymphs.

Sorry I forgot to put in what I caught them on!

I got mine with a black Bugger with Krystal flash. Had to strip them, to get any action at all, wouldn't even look at them on the swing!

Thanks maurice and PaulG.

I've been getting the itch to hit MC.
Maurice, wouldn't mind dunking some fly's with you one day. If you are ever going and looking for some company, I'd love to learn a few trout tricks on MC from you.

Not sure if you remember me. I was with Trent at one of the recent meetings. I seem to have trouble fishing that creek. I'd sure like to learn the ins and outs around there.
