Headed to MC today, hoping for some action in this warm weather we are having.

Yeah, completely drenched.

Got to the stream, 65 degrees partly sunny, decided to leave the raincoat in the truck.

I get a quarter mile upstream and out of nowhere a wall of torrential rain is coming downstream towards me.

Sure is somethin how getting soaked and a 15 degree drop in temps can change your mood.

I slowly made my way back down stream, gave my crayfish pattern a few twitches in a likely spot and it was good for one nice rainbow which was satisfying.

At least you had the nerve to give it a shot? I just keep over-eating and over-drinking and watchin' my TV! At this rate, I'll be too fat to fit into my seamless waders when they arrive (in a couple weeks)!

From a 1wt to a 8wt!

There was one other guy there, he says to me, "I guess were the only crazy ones out here."

Honestly if I had worn my rain gear I would have probably fished till dark.

I never minded standing in the rain.

At least when its warmer or I have rain gear. 😎
