I had a similar day yesterday. Went to the Conestoga and got skunked. It was nice to be in the creek though. I tried wooly
buggers, tied eggs and worms.... I didn't even see a fish. I did
see a lot of deer carcasses.

Yea-- I didnt see a fish either.A Lot flat water ( I havent been there in a long time-so not sure if its different.) Easy to pass by small holes . I remember alot more silt . I wonder if that big storm cleaned things out.

Earthdog,
Were you fishing the "Muddy Creek" in York County? If so, I'm going to add that to your title line and move this thread to Stream Reports. Specific fishing reports such as this are to be posted in the Stream Reports forum. Threads that deal with information (rather than specific fishing reports) on particular streams in PA are often posted here in General but they should be in Stream Locations, and that's where we eventually move them to.
If it was a different county please let us know.
Thanks,
Dave W

Yes --York Co.
Sorry about that - I am new to this site and finding my way around.

The big storm probably did. Maybe it took the fish too!!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

Hey, at least you knew where you were fishing. I was at the Octoraro Creek - not the Conestoga - AAAAHHH!!!!
